Laura Abbott (Playwright; Co-Director) is a Vermont native and graduate of Ithaca College. She was the first Digital Marketing Apprentice in Roundabout Theatre Company's history, and served as a contributing writer for the organization's official blog and educational Upstage Playgoers Guide during the 2012-13 season. Her one-minute plays Falling and Wish I Were Human will be featured in Playsmiths' annual Flash Fest in June 2014. A one-act she wrote while in high school, Trapped, is published through Playscripts, Inc. A rough draft of Trapped was a Top 20 finalist in Stephen Sondheim’s nationwide Young Playwrights competition. As a performer, she has been seen onstage at the Kitchen Theatre Company, St. Michael’s Playhouse, as well as acting under the direction of the incomparable Bob Moss. She portrayed Jo Widmere in an excerpt from Lil Surfer Girl, an award-winning MFA student screenplay, at the 2014 Columbia University Film Festival.
Jordan Reiff (Co-Director) is a director and playwright from Chicago, now living in Brooklyn. He has worked in new play development at the O’Neill Theater Center, Vineyard Theatre, and Signature Theatre. Recent projects include I Am Not I (New York International Fringe Festival, upcoming), Three Days of Rain (Ithaca College), and 50 Shades of Grey Room: Catching Fire (Under St. Marks Theatre). Erin Coen (Stage Manager) hails from Long Island and is a proud Ithaca College Theatre alum. Previous credits include Chain Reaction and Crossings for the NYC Fringe and nine/twelve tapes. She has also stage managed various readings and productions in the New York City area and Ithaca, NY. When Erin is not working, she can be found kickboxing or traipsing around the city in search of street art.
Kendra Slack (Choreographer) is a New York based actor, dancer and choreographer. She studied acting at Ithaca College and Circle in the Square Theatre School. Her most recent roles have included Irene in Dividing the Estate (Brooklyn Heights Players) and Viola in Twelfth Night or What You Will (Teatro Circulo). She currently performs at The McKittrick Hotel as a company member with Punchdrunk. As a dancer she was a featured soloist in a production of Medea directed and choreographed by Noel MacDuffie (American Theater of Actors) and for the past two years she has danced in pieces created for The Group Theatre Too's Choreographer's Canvas. Her choreography has been featured in the NY Fringe Festival and in the Big Range Austin Dance Festival in Austin, TX. Maureen Keleher (Producer) is thrilled to be back on the I Am Not I team! She assisted with the June 2013 reading and is honored to help get IANI to FringeNYC. Hailing from the West Coast, Maureen has been living and working in New York City for almost 2 years. She has had the opportunity to gain arts administration and nonprofit work experience at notable organizations such as Roundabout Theatre Company, BRIC, and the New York City Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. When she’s not working, she enjoys hanging out in funky cafes, pretending to be a French pastry chef in her humble kitchen, dancing off the NYC hustle and bustle in samba class, and exploring Brooklyn.
Christopher Marsh (Producer; Photographer) Shrouded in mystery, Marsh hails "from the shadows." With a stoic aire and brooding sensibility he has "taken New York by the clams" and engrossed himself in various parts of the arts community. Marsh brings his unwavering passion for the arts to the I Am Not I team and had proven to be a formidable scapegoat amongst other roles.
Emma Ruopp (Authorized Company Representative) is a Theatre major at Brooklyn College. Previous credits: The Misanthrope, Sohno: in progress and A Doll's House (BMCC), 2 & 2 (FringeNYC 2013) and the 59E59 East to Edinburgh Festival. She is currently the ASM for Literally Alive at the Players Theatre. She also was in charge of opening and closing the curtain for Laura Abbott's first play, Trapped, in 2007, and is thrilled to be working with her again.
Megan Bruce (Assistant Stage Manager) is a Marymount Manhattan College graduate from Long Island. Her previous roles include Detective Johnson in Life is Short Cherish Every Moment (Theatre For All Productions) and Melissa in Love Letters (Cow Bay Theatre Company). She also stage managed Cow Bay Theatre Company’s production of The Last of the Red Hot Lovers. She thanks the cast and crew for her incredible first NYC Fringe experience.
Cheri Harvey (Wardrobe Supervisor) is from Long Island and sometimes believes she actually lives in a sweat shop! She is the founder of Myner Creations, a company that specializes in custom clothing and graphic design. She has been a costume designer and supervisor on productions of West Side Story and The Wizard of Oz. She has also been a wardrobe stylist and designer for the So Past Gone Tour, Rising Stars Showcase, and concerts for both major and independent music artists in the Tri-State area.
Erikka Anderson (Production Assistant) is a Theatre major at BMCC. Previous credits: Dealing with Opelia (Figment Festival and the Dumbo Arts Festival). She was a production assistant at The New Group on The Jacksonian, Bunty Berman Presents… and Clive.
